Ava is a vibrant 15-year-old who has faced an incredibly difficult medical journey with strength far beyond her years. After an injury in December 2023, she was diagnosed with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), a condition that causes severe, persistent pain.
Over the past two years, Ava and her family have visited countless healthcare providers, explored every treatment option available, and even undergone extensive testing, procedures, and a major surgery, yet relief has not been reached. Despite living daily with a pain level of 8–10, the kind of pain that would send most adults to the ER, Ava continues to face each day with a smile and a remarkably faithful heart.
She and her family are currently traveling in pursuit of a new treatment, praying it will finally bring the healing she deserves. Support in the form of prayers, encouragement, and financial help would mean the world as they continue this difficult but hopeful journey.
It is my absolute honor to be host this Prayer Raiser for a family that makes it their business to shine the light of Jesus in every direction!

- Prayers for peace and comfort within Ava's mind and body, and for her pain to be eased.
- For God's continual presence in holding Ava's earthly body in his arms and wrapping her in healing restoration.

Behind the Design
This Prayer Raiser Witness Wear design was inspired by a verse that is especially meaningful to Ava: Romans 8:18; “The sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed.”
Ava chose this verse herself, and from her strength came the heart of the design, “Flowers Grow in the Valley.”
God can bring unexpected beauty in the hardest seasons; courage, faith, and hope can bloom even in darkest valleys. This design is a tribute to Ava’s journey, her steadfast spirit, and the truth that God is growing something beautiful through her story.
